I'm going the opposite direction. Had a few different brands and going all Grado now. I love it. Comfort isn't too bad as long as it sits flat against your ear and not at an angle where it applies pressure unevenly.

The PM-3 sounds significantly better plugged into a headphone amp. I use the Dragonfly Red and it's improved but even better with my Schiit Vali 2.

I have ray bans and don't find it intrusive at all. The pads are super soft and don't apply too much pressure on the sides
