It was my guess too , they needed decent Power to sound great . Maybe i will try with my current Naim and upgrade later or do the other way around lol . Sadly i can't afford to buy the Headphones and the Amp all at once . What would you buy first if you had to choose between the two options ?

Cool , sure Audio Gd and Omnis would pair very well together then . I am afraid my Naim Dac is a little too weak for the task .

I have one question , which maybe was already answered . On the home page of the omni , where it says "The ZMF Omni" , you can see  two Omnis side by side . Which one is the Walnut and which one the cherry one ? Sorry If this has been answered before .

Yes , agreed with this . I have a Dragonfly and a Naim dac V1 . The dragonfly was never up to the task to drive my He500 properly . But my other headphone amp was another story ..lots of details and power coming out of the Hifiman .
