2.5mm TRRS (balanced) line out is not stated in the user manual, only the 2.5mm TRS but,.. it might be working :-) Someone might have tried it. :-)

Hi Guys, If the Line Out Mode is enabled, does the DP-X1 has a balanced output on its 2.5mm TRRS? or just on the 3.5mm TRS?  I'm planning to connect the 2.5mm balanced output of the DP-X1 to the balanced mini 4-pin input of AlgoRhythm Duet. 

Totally fine, my DP-X1 was rooted since July. I also used XVortex's guide on rooting DP-X1. Also, I just found out that KingoRoot is useless on the new firmware update but there's a link on XVortex's post for the LITE firmware and pre rooted.

No problem on my mac. Chrome, safari, Audirvana and Fidelia works just fine,.. no delay.

My memory card (slot 2) popped out twice within 1 week of use, didn't happen again (might happen again in the future). Covered memory card slot on the original DP-X1 case is a big help for me, I just need to slide the unit out a little bit just in case I want to insert other memory cards...

Open memory card slots on the Dignis Case is the main reason why I purchased the original dp-x1 case, my memory card pops out of the slot 2 times without touching it. And the buttons on the Dignis are hard to press.

I don't know if this will help you regarding the gapless issue: Onkyo Music App > Settings > (under Playback) Turn OFF Crossfade

Since the album plays fine from directory brousing, I think you need to re-sync your music on the music app settings. Or you may try these steps: - Format the memory card under Onkyo Settings - Copy all songs to the memory card - Re-Sync albums under music App. +1 on the comment above, TAG...

Any good quality OTG cable will do, but I build mine just to shorten the wires. DP-X1 and iDSD

  Enable "Variable Line Out Mode" under Settings>sound & notifications if you have that option to fully utilize the amplifier output. Root the device and install Viper4Android if you haven't done it yet. You'll be surprised,.. :-)

Hi, If I plug a 3.5mm jack from a DAP to the iDSD 3.5mm input and set the unit to "pre amp" mode (not direct),.. will the signal pass thru the iDSD DAC then AMP section, or just the AMP section?

Try to install Greenify and stop all unnecessary background processes, don't forget to enable "battery saver". 

I've installed the Pioneer Music App, switched back to Onkyo Music within 3 mins :-)  Club Sound Boost makes the audio "muddy" for my taste, not to mention the recessed mids. Resolution and Details is better on Onkyo Music App. Does using the Pioneer Music App really saves more battery...

Hi, There's an error on google play. "Your device isn't compatible with this version". Downloading thru google play on DP-X1. How did you install the pioneer music app on DP-X1? Can't find a site for apk download as well.
