Beoplay EX impressions thread
Would these pair well with a non-android DAP such as the HiBy R3 or do they really need the app to function properly?- jeffcdo

SONY NW-A30 SERIES
Does the MDR-XB70BT support LDAC? I haven't compared models but I do recommend LDAC to take advantage of the better sound quality offered by the A30 series.- jeffcdo

SONY NW-A30 SERIES
My NW-A35 arrived this morning, I'm using JRiver to manage files on it, no problems at all so far. I'm on a Mac so I haven't tried MediaGo and I find Content Transfer to be too bare bones. I use JRiver to manage my library anyways, it would be overkill to use it just for one DAP. I...- jeffcdo

iPhone 6 & 6 Plus Audio Quality
Has anybody tried using Kaisertone on an iPhone along with an external storage device such as the RAVPower Filehub? I'm wondering if it would be possible to play files directly from an SD card via the RAVPower wirelessly, using a wired DAC connected directly to the iPhone of course.- jeffcdo

SONY NW-ZX2
That's astounding. I'm listening primarily LDAC wirelessly (likely my problem) and if I leave the unit on it's dead in 24 hours.- jeffcdo

Sony MDR1-ABT Impressions
The following case works great for the MDR-1ABT although you do have to take out the foam pad which fits inside the lid (it is held in place with velcro). I just received mine today, followed those instructions, and can verify that the fit is excellent. Protective Case by Headcase Audio for...- jeffcdo

Sony MDR1-ABT Impressions
When you turn them on, take note of the flashing red light. 3 flashes and you are good, 1 flash and you need to recharge. I've been impressed with how long the batteries last (versus the NW-ZX2, which I've been disappointed how short the battery life is, particularly when listening...- jeffcdo

SONY NW-ZX2
I'm curious since the NW-ZX2 runs Android and is Wi-Fi enabled, is it possible to store audio files online and download them directly to the device? I don't believe that OneDrive supports downloading folders, but thought there might be some other online services/apps that might do the trick (if...- jeffcdo

Sony MDR-1A - Sony's latest update on the 1R
That looks promising, thank you! I tried this case http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OFFZVNM?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00 ..but it was too small. I did like the thin profile of this case (earpads turned to lie flat).- jeffcdo

SONY NW-ZX2
Has anybody had luck finding a 3rd party case to fit the ZX2? The Somes case seems overpriced to me, and ideally I'm looking for something that would cover the unit on all sides to store when I'm not using it. I keep my smartphone in an inexpensive neoprene pouch. It's cheap, but it also...- jeffcdo
