    The Tomahawk appreciation thread.

I've clocked some ~400hrs on the Tomahawk. Listened mostly to 80s/90s, lots of female vocals and a few operas. Today I listened to my Agnus Dei, Choir of New College collection. It's been a long time.. and the first choral work on this setup. AMAZING! For the first time I it sounds...

The UM56 will have to wait till early next year. The folks who make them will be on hols soon. In the meantime I seem to recall someone posted a mod for the Complys. He/she trimmed a little bit off the Complys tips, making it flush against the inner plastic tube. Friday arvo, mind...

    The Westone UM1/UM2 Appreciation Thread

Sold the UE Sf3. Got the UM2. Currently trying out each tip in the Shure fit kit + the Complys. Lots more resolution compared to the UE. The Cure's Bloodflowers is a lot less muddy with the UM2, I can actually make out the different textures of music. Amazing! Prefer the Shure foams >...

    Little Dot Micro+ initial impressions

here's a simplistic comparison. When using my KSC-75 (75ohms impedance) I need to dial the vol knob to 2-3pm on the low-gain LDM+. Around 12-1pm on the regular-gain one. I recall preferring the regular-gain LDM+ with the KSC-75. Hiss is inaudible in my work environment unless absolutely...
