I would second surfcables, I have a balanced cable for my AudioQuest Nighthawks and the combination of the Nighthawk, Kann, Surf balanced cable just might be end-game for me.

  According to the published specs, 4 v High gain SE, and 7 v High gain Balanced. Hope this helps.

I am curious about this too, have a N6, thinking of upgrading, considering something with balanced out. The DP-X1A was top of my list.

  Thanks for the response, the problem seems to be in installing the driver, for some reason it gives me an error when I try to install it. I did set it to DAC in the menu, don't think it showed up as an audio device on my computer without the driver. Will try it again.     Really just trying...
