    Thanks for the comment. I never considered the impedance. Damn. I will wait for the amp to arrive. But I was really hoping I didn't need to carry the amp around anytime I wanted to use the cans. Ugh. Lesson learned.

    Well the cans arrived. I am so disappointed. The sound is so low for 32ohm headphones coming out of my iPhone 6. I mean it's pitiful. Bass is weak. These should not need an amp.   Are they damaged? I have tested so many other headphones up to 38ohm that rock compared to these.

    Hi all. I am considering using my iPhone 6 and a DAC/Amp for my AKG 545s.   But I am wondering is there's such thing as a DAP that also includes a solid amp section so I can keep everything in one device. Does something like this exist? I'd spend up to $200   Thanks for any suggestions.

    Thanks for the suggestion on the E07K. Will an external DAC of this quality make much difference compared to the iPhone 6 DAC if I am only playing 320Kb music from Spotify and Pandora?
