Yes and the Spotify Lite is so much better running on this ageing ZX2 better than the full blown Spotify app which feels so much lag. For me as my audio source are from Spotify, hence as long as ZX2 can still runs Spotify Lite... I can see myself still holding onto this device :beyersmile:

I have finally switch my XBA-A3 stock cable to a new 8-core copper cable with a 2.5mm balanced jack. I then plug it into a 2.5mm balanced to 3.5mm balanced jack before going into the ZX2. Honestly, my ears is not sensitive enough to differentiate between 3.5mm unbalanced with this new setup...

Yes, there is no firmware upgrade for ZX2 since post production unit other than a small bump of JP domestic variant as per my understanding. My unit is showing Android version 4.2.2 Kernel version 3.0.31 and Build number 1.00.0009 I don't have 400GB microSD so I'm not sure on that speed.

Yes, the only thing at times annoy me is the lag of the device because of the ageing Processor and limited memory coupled with Android 4 which is not so optimized in terms of performance. But then if we put that aside, this thing is a beast and the sound stage is phenomenal, at least for my ears...

Recently I noticed that Spotify updated their app and it finally recognised the ZX2 'System Storage' which is the massive storage area as compared to previously it only recognised the small partition...

Perhaps the 'GAIN' on High helps? or is already on the High settings
