Can I ask why you have two hd 600s? Also can i have your opinion on the hd 600 vs the x2? I'm trying to decide whether to buy an hd 600 to compliment the x2 or simply upgrade to a LCD 2.

I do think a lot of people convince themselves that something more expensive must sound better (including me). Kudos to you for being able to see past that and pick the headphone you enjoy the most. Not many people have the ability think that critically.

You're absolutely right. I wish I was able to measure the effect on the FR but the treble seems a little more laid back when I scoot them back on my head!   I'd agree it must be something to do with the drivers.
