    IBasso Audio IT03

Fellow it03 owner here, don't mind if I ask for your impressions of the it03 vs the se846.Im contemplating getting either the se846 or the campfire andromedas as an upgrade, and have heard the latter but not the former

hey dont mind if I ask how the it03 compares to the the other 3 iems you mentioned.Ive been an owner of the it03 for a while, love it by the way, but have always been curious about the akg n40 and the isine lineup

    IBasso Audio IT03

Fantastic review.Really liked the objective approach you had in this one.More often than not, minute changes in sound quality due to cable changes are simply a change in volume due to the difference in the resistivity of the cable. And really cables to me cables provide more of a small change in...

    IBasso Audio IT03

I'm not sure if it's just me but recently I just put on a pair of spinfits cp 100.The fits great, snug, comfy , fantastic isolation. But I feel that the spinfits has made the sound more aggressive, bass increased by a bit but it's the upper mids/lower treble that for me becomes problematic.The...

    Review of Audio Technica ATH-IM01, ATH-IM02, ATH-IM03, ATH-IM04, ATH-IM50, & ATH-IM70

Considering these iems are definitely not ones you would want to bring out to use during exercise, I guess for 90% of people the cable shouldnt turn brittle. But I agree that the cable could have been made better.Luckily, you can always get after market cables from effect audio etc

Also unless you consistently expose the cable to oil and sweat, the cable will not turn brittle-at least mine didnt

    Review of Audio Technica ATH-IM01, ATH-IM02, ATH-IM03, ATH-IM04, ATH-IM50, & ATH-IM70

Quite on the contrary, having been an owner of the im02 for 1.5 years, I've never had fit issues with the im02.In fact I find the im02 quite comfortable.Soundwise, I personally feel that the im02 has a slightly warmish-neutral sound to it.Overall really detailed, clear and smooth without...

    Review of Audio Technica ATH-IM01, ATH-IM02, ATH-IM03, ATH-IM04, ATH-IM50, & ATH-IM70

Being an owner of the im02, I can definitely tell you that there is no worry of,any pins breaking as the im connector is the inverse of the conventional two pin design and is extremely durable.By the way there are some shops that sell third party I'm cables like lunashops and effect audio. In my...

    Review of Audio Technica ATH-IM01, ATH-IM02, ATH-IM03, ATH-IM04, ATH-IM50, & ATH-IM70

the im02 IMHO is the exact opposite of what you mentioned, in fact I find the treble rolled off.The im02's treble quantity scales with output impedance.The.im02 will sound brighter with sources with output impedance of beyond 1.Perhaps you should check your source to see if this is an issue...

    Review of Audio Technica ATH-IM01, ATH-IM02, ATH-IM03, ATH-IM04, ATH-IM50, & ATH-IM70

New im02 owner here. After two days of listening, I can definitely say that vocals, female vocals especially,on the im02 are incredible.Smooth with impeccable resolution.I will say though that bass quantity is rather low, even lower than in my msr7's.All in all, if you are looking for an iem that...

MEE Audio Pinnacle P1 - $199 Dynamic Driver Flagship *Reviews 2nd Post*

To anybody who owns the ex1000 or has heard it, could you do a comparison between the p1 and ex1000?Based on what I'm seeing so far, both iems have a similar sound signature.I can get a used ex1000 for approx 100sgd more.Should I go for the ex1000 or p1?

MEE Audio Pinnacle P1 - $199 Dynamic Driver Flagship *Reviews 2nd Post*

Hey guys I'm just wondering if an iPhone 5s will be capable of driving th p1 unamped? Also, im kinda stuck between choosing the im02 and the pinnacle.I remember falling in love with the im02 for its portrayal of vocals, yet was hoping for something with a more visceral bass punch. Is the vocal...

    Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7 Discussion Thread

Msr7 definitely is suitable as a studio monitor, if you are looking for a headphone to sort of analyze and pick apart music files.i would say that one trait that defines the msr7 the most, is its ability to pick out details and paint a really clear image of what you're listening to, without...

Yes it is.The headband is really strong and robust.Do check out innerfidelitys video review of the msr7 on YouTube. There he demonstrates how he manages to relieve the caliper pressure of the headband.Imo, the msr7's only shortcomings are it's high clamping force, which can be attenuated by...

    Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7 Discussion Thread

Yup i do agree with some ba iems, it is indeed easier to hear details.I suspect it has to do with the passive isolation, that removes ambient sounds such as the one produced by air conditioners that we dont normally notice. However, i do think that a neutral headphone is best for mixing.Say you...

    Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7 Discussion Thread

As you said, you think that the r70x is superior. Thus, it is your opinion, not fact.If you are going to judge headphone based on one being neutral, and the other being coloured, you might as well say that the r70x is better than any hifiman, audeze and sennheiser. After all, all coloured...

    Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7 Discussion Thread

Dont mind me saying this but you seem strangely biased towards the r70x when you compare it towards the msr7, saying how artificial the msr7 is and how the r70x is leaps and bounds ahead of the msr7.You also make wild claims how the r70c can be more detailed than the msr7 should the sound...

    Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7 Discussion Thread

I disagree.Open back headphones, on the contrary, is capable of producing a far mroe detailed sound. One reason that dictates this is the fact that it is open backed, thus any sound created by the diaphragm is able to 'escape', and will not reverberate, as is the case in close back...

Your experience, like you said, is very likely to be affected my the material of the cups.So far many users including myself have found that the msr7 has mediocre isolation, and measurements by tyll also support that.Never mind that, I'm curious to know what cups you use with your msr7.Do they...

    Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7 Discussion Thread

I personally find the msr7 edgy in the s notes, teetering on the point of being sibilant.Oddly, when it comes to sibilance on the msr7, there isnt one unison opinion of it-either some think its fine, while others find it sibilant.I happen to be smack in between both camps.I'm quite satisfied...

Audio-Technica debuts three new pairs of headphones ATH-R70x, ATH-M70x and ATH-M50xDG

    1. Yes 2. No 3. No The MSR7 are known for their accuracy and detail retrieval while the R70x is warmish-neutral and non fatiguing sounding headphones. I use the MSR7 when I want technical, precise and more aggressive presentation. On the other hand the R70x are extremely comfortable, with a...

    Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7 Discussion Thread

@Daniel Patino solely in terms of accuracy, I dare say the msr7 will render classical music pretty well. However, it is after all a portable headphone, and though it does have above-average width and depth and imaging, that is only relative to other portable headphones. But I still think that the...
