Alpha sound a little bit better (better implementation) and it is louder. But over all is not much diference at least to me.

Do not get me wrog, alpha sound really good, a little bit better than Note 4, but to my opinon Nexus S has batter audio: sound is more warm ( I like that), highs are more smooth and detiled, bas is faster, whole sound is more balanced. alpha and Note 4 have more forwarding sound...
