I've heard of it and am listening to its effects right now via foobar2k. But I'd like some links explaining what exactly it does to the sound... how its incorporated into the hardware of headphone amps... and the benefits according to the masses. Oh and people's opinions on it!

I'm kinda concerned about this. If they fall off my head while I'm groovin this takes a bit of the fun out listenining. So do they? Or are they just super shifty?
