    I don't really have a proper amp/DAC at the moment, using an audio interface, so I guess that's part of why it isn't really working out for me. I'm still trying to decide what amp/DAC to get though.

    I have a lot of Vocaloid CDs that I burn into FLAC files, so I would expect the quality should be there. Currently I own HE-400i. It's a fun sounding and immersive headphone, but the soundstage and instrument separation is not up to my standards.

    Thanks for the feedback guys! Reason I asked is because I wanted to know if anyone has ever tried a particular headphone that really worked for them. From my experience it's difficult to get a headphone that separates instruments very clearly in Vocaloid and Touhou music
