really? if you know of any other places that sell that low or lower please do tell. every place i've looked wants at least $200.

which of these two would you pick? does the akg k240 block any noise? how deep are the ear cups of the k240 (i ask because my ears stick out a little)? what are the tonal balances of these two phones?

Welcome to Mapletree Audio Design look at the bottom of that page and try that amp. also, consider a better sound card if yours is so so... i think you'll want to keep that amp away from the pc. i think tube amps pic EM distortion easily if i remember correctly.

you could try the beyer dt770... they have a similar (NOT THE SAME) sound curve.... then there's the futursonic atrios too..

future sonic atrios sound great. they don't block as much as ety's. though, with the ety's, on many songs you will be missing half the music because the ety's have NO bass whatsoever.

yup. those are what i used.

well, what i did was cut the pipes out of the small FS foamies. i put the pipes on the posts and then the flex plugs on them. i tried the pipes at half lenght and at full length. both methods greatly lessened the bass and i don't think they're blocking any extra noise... so, the FS tips do seem...

i just got some of these shure soft flex tips. they're actually too large for the post. what were y'all doing to get them to fit?

the cartelidge at the bottom of my ears get in the way of me wearing them down no matter how i bend them. i just put the wire on top my head for now. and how did you get the er6i clip on them? the cord seems too thick for it. never mind... got the clip on.

is there any material i can place on the cord as sort of an extension of the memory plastic section? i'd like to be able to route the cable away from my ear.

i really hate the feeling of that wire going behind my ears. is there anyway to wear them without the wire behind my ear? i tried wearing them like ety's but the stems get in the way.
