Stock tips for my Heaven VII are not bad, but I wanted to try some other tips. So I bought SpinFit, Sony Hybrid and Comply. SpinFit doesn't work for me. Sony Hybrid is good, but Comply is the most comfortable so I think I'll stick with it.- HarryH2O

I ditched the stock tips (well, put them back in the box). They're alright, but not very comfortable. May slide out over time. Tried and gave up on SpinFits. Pretty to look at, but bad seal causes bass loss. Also, if I insert them too deep, they bend too much and get pinched, causing sound to...- HarryH2O

I use Sony hybrid tips. The seal is so good it 'pops' every time I pull them out!- HarryH2O

I don't have the FIBASS, just the H7. It's beautifully crafted, lovely mids, and never sibilant. Bass is decent but the basshead in me want even more bass, so I have a pair of Zero Audio Carbo Basso on order. Different IEMs for different tunes.- HarryH2O

Fair enough, then he should quote the original post to avoid confusion, otherwise people are going to presume he's talking about the last pertinent post. And since I got my genuine Heaven VII for $260, and the recent Massdrop for FIBASS was for $550, we know that FAD's high price is mostly due...- HarryH2O

Where does it claim that it's FAD? I don't see it. Besides, there are many respectable Chinese IEMs, so disparaging all Chinese made audio products as 'cheap' is uncalled for.- HarryH2O

I'm selling my FAD Adagio III for US$30, if anyone is interested. Bought it five months ago and have used it less than 10 times. It was going to be my bass head IEM replacement for the JLab J6, but the J6 refuses to die, so the Adagio III has been mostly sitting in the case. Hopefully...- HarryH2O

I'm giving a Heaven VII to a friend as a birthday present. I also have a set myself. Being somewhat of a basshead (for example, I like to listen to 'We No Speak Americano' with my Adagio III), I find the bass of the Heaven VII underwhelming. I use mine mostly for vocal music like those by...- HarryH2O

Seems strange they only list those IEMs and not the other FAD models. It's not like FAD has a gazillion different models. My Adagio 3 is not listed but the 200 should fit. I hope.- HarryH2O

I ended up buying from Amazon Japan because I'm getting 4 pairs and it's a better deal. If you just need a pair, buying from EarWerkz or head-fi guy (sorry forgot his handle) is probably quicker and more convenient.- HarryH2O

After some hiccups (my fault), Tenso is finally shipping the Sony noise isolating tips to me from Tokyo. Tenso fees and postage came to $5. I paid $13 for two packs from Amazon Japan. So total cost per pack comes to $9. That's about half of what resellers in the US want.- HarryH2O

Is the foam easily removable? If so, can they be put onto the regular Sony Hybrid of different sizes? Reason I ask is, I'm giving Sony tips as a gift, but I don't know the person's size. Since these only come in one size per pack, I'm thinking if they're not the right size for them...- HarryH2O
