Can anyone comment on the sound quality of the MDR-1A vs. the MDR-1ABT? If the 1ABT offers the same performance then I might go with that, but if the 1A is better, then I'm not really in need of a bluetooth capable set.

It's more about the care and attention I give to my gadgets. They are practically my kin, and I treat them as such. I can't be guaranteed of the history of someone else's things, even though I'm sure everyone here takes pretty good care of their tech.

Maybe I should just save getting an AMP and DAC for when I upgrade from the MDR-1A down the road. Listening to my ATH-M50 through my laptop now, sounds like the motherboard is doing a pretty good job of driving them, even at lower volumes.

Can someone who has the MDR-1ABT comment on how it sounds when wired versus the MDR-1A?
