The "mod your Zhalou" Thread
Hmmm, can someone compile a list of resistor values for the D2.0s? I'd really appreciate that. And may i ask if there's any audible difference from bridging the two balanced opamps? To those that actually bridged it. (there are 3, 1 alone and 2 as a pair, bridging the two would kill the...- empire23

lol, nobody ever mentions Baroque do they? Guiseppe Tartini's The Devil Trill Violin Sonata for me :P, i'm a sucker for technicality sometimes. -
Recommend capacitors for audio soudcard
When it comes to general power and tanking, really Samxons have really impressive Ripple specs and are perfect for the job. Other than that i suggest Rubycon MCZs and Nichicon HZs, all of them well engineered capacitors. Silmic and Cerafine kind of denote a certain kind of infusion into the...- empire23

PS Audio Noise Harvester
Just as i thought, some cheap arse snubber cap in an LCR filter network, with an LED in series with a resistor and voltage div. Some Wimas, RN60Ds or Caddocks (i love their inductionless resistors XD) would do a better job. The nerve people have to charge 100 USD for a pile of junk like that. 2... -
premium resistors?
Well, you do get better channel matching with better resistors due to the better tolerance, and metal films have less drift (thermoelectric distortion) and since you're aren't exactly using more than 10 for a Cmoy, they should be chump change for anyone. Why not?- empire23

UPS as power condition
Well it all depends on how many PWM phases a particular UPS has, more phases means more accurate AC conversion and approximation. High end ones having up to 6 which makes it pretty impressive. -

Power conditioning?
Well, there is a distinct difference between filtering and rebuilding. Filtering works by removing noise and smoothening the waveform because capacitors pass AC but not DC. You can regulate it further by using regulation IC or discreet regulators like the Jung Super Reg design. Rebuilding is... -

PS Audio Noise Harvester
From what i can see in the pic it seems like a LCR filter with buttload of Snubber caps and that's all it seems to be. Maybe Patrick82 should try real men mods, like from Corcom, Schaffner and Tyco. Try fitting an FN3258 from Schaffner into your mains, but if you get killed, don't blame me... -
Who is Your Favorite Comic Book Figure?
Cobra Commander.....No one kicks dogs like him, as per the picture below. I like the Punisher too because he generally has no fancy powers or loads of cash and whatnot, just a large M60E3 with a belt or two and a few well placed Claymores.- empire23
