TREAD problem
Some clarification is in order, you misunderstood me, tangent. After swiching a C8 tread came to life and started to give output of about 22.4V, not 1.4 1.4V was when I managed to reverse C8 polarity and fried it... Since it was not possible to regulate it, regulator was suspected...- Galen

Got me a new regulator today. Swapped it. No change. I think it is most likely to be a pot problem, so I will get a new pot.. If others dont think so, then suggestions are welcome- Galen

Well, after carefully checking everything over I found that as usual the problem to be a user error. I somehow managed to reverse C8. Now I got another problem possibly because of that. No matter in what direction or how much I regulate the pot, output voltage is the same. 20.8V- Galen

Yes, I basically agree that probably when it is blown regulator the next one will be blown to. I ran tread without any load to its output, but that should not be a problem.. And got some pics -- using a flatbed scanner They suck somewhat but should be enought to spot any obvious errors...- Galen

Hi, Just built a tread today. Nothing exploded or caught fire. Led came on just fine and between TP1 and TP3 there vas about 22.xV Since I put the bridge in place this was understandable, unloaded wallwart output is 24V. Well, anyway, Descided to go get a screwdriver to adjust output...- Galen
