    Does anyone have a sennheiser HD 800 and an EL-8 open-back to compare?  I just recieved my RMA el-8 and its still in brand new packaging, so I though I would sell it and get the HD800 instead.

    I should have gone with this headphones and saved $300 instead of going with the el-8 for planar magnetic headphones.

    The headband is not comfortable at all. At times it feels like it's pushing down onto your skull, a little painful and you would have to adjust it again.
