Campfire - Solaris
Happy Solaris owner from Berlin here. I can absolutely recommend Spiral Dot Tips, with the bigger bore they give solaris some air to breathe with still fantastic bass compared with provided Final E Tips. Also the soundstage sounds more real and coherent i.m.o. Again head-fi had been very...- medi1988

If you still love Etymotic ER4, this is the thread for you...
I agree, the best sound is with the clear triple flanges inserted deeply, but the comfort over time is not that good. The sure olives sit comfortable but I feel like taking out some details leading to a „warmer“ presentation.- medi1988

*NEW PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT* Jerry Harvey Audio - Performance Series Universal Fit IEMs
So far I can say that the performance Roxanne is very comfortable to wear for longer times, I found the FMJ one equally sounding but working out of the ear since it was heavier and didn't had that deep insert. I´m not experienced in describing sound but what I like is a huge soundstage and...- medi1988

*NEW PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT* Jerry Harvey Audio - Performance Series Universal Fit IEMs
The Sennheiser Momentum Eartips fit well on Performance Roxanne too. The little bridge in the middle is preventing them from slipping too far down. So far I like the bass and vocals with them+they are more comfortable than the stock tips (tested with Silver Dragon Cable)- medi1988

JH Audio Sirens Series Roxanne Impressions Thread
Thank you! I thought of a deeper insert when i saw the product pictures with the shells next to each other, with FMJ Angie i feel like the 4 pin connector part is pushing them back outside when i try to insert them deeper. I like their sturdy appearance though. So your comparison between...- medi1988

JH Audio Sirens Series Roxanne Impressions Thread
Thanks Deezel177 for this impression, i was wondering how the performance series would be a step up or not. At the moment i´m thinking about getting Roxanne II or keeping Angie II. Do you think Roxanne II is much different to performance roxanne?- medi1988

Senheiser ie800 vs shure se846
Yes nearly impossible to listen in advance in germany ... you can order the Shure from Thomann online with 30 day´s return. Same with k3003 from Amazon. But didn't find IE800 anywhere with return possible. I also owned TF10 for many years, but their highs annoyed me at the end, bit sibilant. I...- medi1988

Senheiser ie800 vs shure se846
Just came across your post and i´m glad not being alone thinking that way. I´m now selling the SE846 cause the music on IE800 touches me more. Not sure if this is because of the BA/Dynamic thing or the soundstage, but IE800 feels more alive with my NW-ZX2. I only wish the isolation would be...- medi1988

[Review] Sennheiser IE800: Impressions, Frustration and a bunch of What-Ifs
I´m new to this site, so hello from germany! :) Just wanted to say, my IE800 have the same gap at the connector (about 0,5 mm), its a over 25'000 SN. They may have changed it with changing about the stiff cable issue. I think it´s normal.- medi1988
