I'm considering buying either a Benjie x3 or Benjie S5. Which is the better model in terms of sound quality and performance? Also how is the sound quality compared to the Colorfly C3 and xDuoo X2?

I kept my X2 for about a year and then decided to sell it and get a Colorfly C3 - mainly because I was concerned about all the reports of the X2s bricking. This was around 3 or 4 years ago. So far, there have been no issues with my Colorfly.

So now that the X2 has been around for 4 years, I want to know how reliable/durable it has been for owners. Anyone care to post their experiences with the X2? Has it been durable and lasted a long time? Or did it eventually die on you?

So now that X2 has been in production for several years, has the durability of this product improved, or are there still many instances of it bricking? I sold mine last year and bought a Colorfly C3 mainly because I was worried that my x2 would eventually brick. Otherwise, I was quite pleased...

I was charging it through my laptop via a USB cable. I was just wondering if it even has an indicator that says charging is complete.  Or do I just unplug when the bar is full. 

Hi,   Does the C3 indicate when the battery is fully charged?  I know that the manual says to charge it for 12 hours when using for the first time in order to maximize the life of the battery.  I'm charging it right now for the second time and it's been over 10 hours but it hasn't indicated...

I just ordered a c3 from Massdrop. How reliable / durable are they?  I just sold my xDuoo x2 because I kept seeing so many posts of them bricking after several months of use.

Just sold my x2. I was pretty happy with during the year that I had it. Reason why I sold it is because of all the postings on this forum of x2's that have bricked. It gave me an uneasy feeling of wondering when mine will brick. So I ordered a Colorfly C3 from Massdrop. I haven't seen too many...

How is the reliability/durability of the x2 compared to the Colorfly c3? Also, are the latest x2 with the new improved hardware more reliable than the previous ones (i.e. is the 3rd batch reliability/durability better than the second batch?)

How does the Colorfly C3 sound like compared to the M3 and the xDuoo X2? I have the X2 paired with various headphones- Sony MDR V6 and Grado SR80i.

I will be using the C3 mainly with headphones and not IEMs. I have the Grado SR80i and Sony MDR V6. Will the xDuoo x2 be more suitable for pairing with headphones because it has more power than the Colorfly C3?

I have an opportunity to buy a Colorfly C3 for $50. How is the sound quality of the Colorfly C3 compared to the xDuoo X2?  Is the sound quality any better?   I already have the xDuoo X2, so would it still be worth buying the Colorfly or will the $ not be well spent?

What are the good buttons in the 3rd version like compared to the bad buttons in the second version?

I have firmware v5 and am wondering which EQ setting is the most neutral. I'm thinking its the 'Natural' setting. However, I find that 'Natural' setting does not sound that nice, lacks bass, and is rather flat. Which EQ setting do you prefer?

How does the X2 sound compared to the X3 and the Fiio M3?. Is it worth paying double for the X3 over the X2? Does the X2 sound better than the Fiio M3? It seems the M3 has much more features, longer battery life, 8 GB internal memory etc.

So many reports of X2s dying.  Are all the faulty units the first releases (the ones without the S/N in the back)?

I installed V7.0 and didn't notice any difference between V6.0 and V7.0.  But then I started comparing the V7.0 to my iPod Touch 2nd Gen.  To my surprise, the iPod Touch sounded much, much better than the V7.0.  Cleaner, smoother sound. The V7.0 sounded tinny, bright and harsh in comparison.  So...

Can anyone else confirm that sound quality has deteriorated for V7?  For me that is a deal breaker.  I have V6 and I can't stand that lock feature

I'm very concerned hearing so many X2's breaking down after 3-4 months of use. Are these all the early versions or the latest release (the ones with the S/N printed in the back). Hopefully mine won't break down. The sound quality is good, but not worth the cost if it's going to last only 3 months!

I ordered a xDuoo X2 and am pretty satisfied with it.  Only drawback is that it doesn't have FM radio.

The xDuoo X2 can be bought for $50 USD.  The Sandisk Clip Jam is around $37.  The Clip Jam has 8 GB internal memory and is expandable with micro SD card.  It also has FM radio.  The battery life is also up to 18 hrs vs maybe 12 hours for the xDuoo Is it worth spending the extra $13 for a xDuoo...

Actually I like it that the headphone jack of the x2 is very tight.  I have a Sony MDR-V6 and when I connect this headphone to my iPod Touch and Sandisk Clip+, the sound sometimes cuts in and out whenever I'm moving around and the jack/cord is moving.  However, when those headphones are plugged...

Why would,they sell it with a second battery? Does this mean that the battery will not last long if they have to sell with a second battery?
