To answer your 2nd question, the jack issue is the jacks being loose due to having a gap. This has caused issues with some people. To the extent of the shield coming off...  There is a mini mod you can you. You can apply acrylic to fill the gap and solve the issue. 

I was thinking the same thing. I owned a AK240 mid last year, seeing something close to that for half the price is pretty awesome.

I just bought a v10 for 350. I'm still considering a DP-X1. Compared to other DAP's, the DP-X1 is a screaming value if you can pick it up for under 650USD

Why is it not worth much more than $600? Are you saying that because of the specs provided, or what it's currently selling for in other locations of the world?

What other issues did you have with the dpx1 besides folder browsing? Did you end up selling yours?

I'd be using them more for noise isolation. Wish I had a local place to try the M2's... would make the decision a lot easier.  I think I'll buy the QC25's regardless because of the price.
