People can afford the gears here on head-fi without returning. The reason why there is no good words spreading about Z1R may just be simple and straight forward, doesn't meet the expectation. Think about how many people had bought Utopia. 

Coming from a SE846 user. Make the white filter your default, with an addition of a silver cable, i find it sounding quite nice :)

By the way, for all of you audiophiles out there. Please watch some good quality trill movie with your beloved Utopia/Elear, and experience that intense moments!!! I am still recovering from it..

I am not good with EQ so i left it untouched. I did swaped the pad to test it for a little ( couple of songs). The result was that Elear sounded shockingly similar to Utopia with the Utopia pad to my ear.

Compare to Utopia, HD800s sounded "thin". For example, for a deep bass sound effect, the HD800s would take the bass to my neck/shoulder at most, while Utopia takes it all the way to my chest. I am not sure if this is the best way to put it, hopefully this gives you a brief idea.

That looked exactly the same as the vectron. Smaller in fact, according to the dimension. Are you sure Elear fits into this? Ok, actually, I "squeezed" it in....I am not sure if its a good idea to do this though =/

Does anyone have a good carry case in mind for Utopia/Elear? Someone suggested the vectron case from amazon but it is too small!! =(

Elear is quite fun to play around with. The sound stage is very close to your head, aka not so much. Yet, it scales with your amp and genre to open the space up behind the vocal, if any. In another word, I would say the mid is forward, but the sound stage is actually not as bad as some may think.

Similarity: 1. Transparency 2. Accuracy Difference: 1. Space HD > Utopia 2. Puchiness HD < Utopia 3. Comfort depends but i like HD a little better 4. Sound extension HD < Utopia Utopia is my go to headphone, but i feel fatigue after a while because everything is so detail yet...
