  Have not had any issues with the SHP9500's like you have stated, and they are quite a comfortable fit for me.. 

So, The Massdrop deal has ended for the SHP9500's, but have a question for some of the current owners here... I have a Mod Mic, and was wondering if it will attach to these ok?  Looking at that grill/mesh on the SHP9500's and it might not stick to it all that well.. Either way, not a big deal...
