How do I solder 2.5mm jack?
Put it in a panavise, hit the little step (to the right of the threads in the picture) with flux, tin it , tin the wire, hit it with the flux again and solder on the wire.- MisterX

Need Some CNC work
You would prolly have better luck at a trophy shop. Could go the DIY case badge route with it. (print the image on photo paper, cut out, cover with epoxy, finish edges, stick on with double sided tape)- MisterX

Yes you can check the current draw by measuring amps across the switch terminals. And yes again.....Measure the DC offset between the right or left output and ground. (both tests are performed without the headphones plugged in and no music playing) Also check that the op-amp is not...- MisterX

Try some actual troubleshooting instead of guessing. . What's the idle current draw? What's the reading when measuring voltage between the op-amp's pin 4 and ground? What's the reading when measuring voltage between the op-amp's pin 8 and ground? What's the reading when measuring between...- MisterX

Looking to make a Linear Regulated 5 Volt Power Supply (suggestions please)
Moving the ground from the computer thru the skinny interface cable is the primary advantage an external PSU offers. (especially given the rated noise performance of the local regulators on the waveIO) I would rather not have the line filters but if you keep the umbilical short the simple PSU...- MisterX
