Is there a mod you can do to use a STAX amplifier with other headphones?

Anybody try this DAP with an AQ jitterbug attached to the usb via an otg cable? Would it have any noticeable differences -- even subtle? Thanks!

Just found this thread. I work in a studio and we have a dozen of these headphones. We love them and hate them simultaneously because if you amp it good and the recording is wonderful we want to take it home.   Anything less impressive and we feel like were being skull*****ed! hahahaha!  ...

  Correct. Honestly the value for money aspect made me pull the trigger on the electrets. Don't get me wrong, I love the midrange on the electrets and it does reach some of the Stax signatures but as you said YMMV. That "real space" thing you mentioned is exactly why I posted. :-)
