I appreciate the quick reply. From your information, it looks like I should go with the Marantz HD-DAC1 since I mostly use headphones. I do want the DAC feature since my music source is iTune and Spotify running on a Mac Pro. I do have a pair of active speakers (with a subwoofer); but they...- Kdragon
