Dethonray Honey H1 - USB DAC/AMP
Ultraman is balanced 4.4 ONLY with more power. Meaning the 3,5 port is disabled when running the Ultraman firmware, and its locked into high gain. The firmware versions 3.3 and 3.6(3.6 has volume issues) give access to all ports and gains, but with slightly less power. Mind you, i'm running 3.3...- Tostitostelli

Thank you for your response, how did you accomplish getting the hybrids on? Did you fold the pads inside out for example?- Tostitostelli

GoldPlanar GL2000 Thread
So i'm trying to swap the stock leather pads out for the included hybrids, but I'm having trouble getting the pads around the cup, like i cant get them round it. The Hybrids seem smaller. Put the stock pads back on, which barely worked. Looking for tips to get the pads on, also with the lips on...- Tostitostelli

Dethonray Honey H1 - USB DAC/AMP
Ok, this is unfair now. Unfair to desktop amps, unfair to portable amps. I'm on my first 24 hours of owning this dac/amp. And i have already turned off my NFB 28.38 . It will not be needed anymore, not in the near future anyway. Technical analysis is not my one of my strong suits, nor do I aim...- Tostitostelli

Sadly no, the only experience i've had with modern Sony audio are the MDR-1AM2, and 3 bluetooth cans. I say modern, because i have had the old walkman and discman.- Tostitostelli

Dethonray Honey H1 - USB DAC/AMP
Just received the Honey. Initial impression after like 30 minutes of listening with ZMF Aeolus is favorable for sure. Coming from AudioGD NFB28.38, it is surprising how much power the Honey puts out on the Ultraman firmware (4.4 only). It is at the very least on par, and thats all i'm going to...- Tostitostelli

ZMF Aeolus Impressions thread
I currently own both the LCD2 Classic and the Aeolus. Keep in mind that I've only had the Aeolus for 3 days now, in what I'm about to say next: Your focus is on perfectly flat bass response, to my ears at least, the Aeolus is not flat. It's a headphone that feels alive, warm, more so than the...- Tostitostelli

Just received my Aeolus yesterday afternoon. Powering them off the NFB28.38 (balanced). Its powerfull, so dont need to crank it up high. Drives it easily. Your amps will be plenty. Would like to know how they sound off the WA8.- Tostitostelli
