Hm, dumb question. I just noticed it just says 2-ch Network Amplifier. It's also got to have a dac, right? "2-ch network amplifier", same thing as a receiver I'm assuming.

Doesn't need to be super, super high end but something decent sounding would be good. It needs to be network compatible for internet radio and preferably Tidal for streaming music. After some toying around with my setup and going back to the stock little dot 1+ 6JI tubes I'm certain I like the RS2e MUCH better than the 225e. I think I'm an outlier when I say this but I am just not a fan of the Voshkod 6zh1p tubes. I guess they were clouding my judgement. 

Curious, the G cushions are suitable for the 500e? Sound quality won't suffer?

  That report was probably from me if it was on Reddit. My button is most definitely changed. It's tight, secure and not at all wobbly. I find it odd that some models have a new button while others don't.

The Schiit Modi 2 Uber DAC and the Little Dot 1+ amp. The Uber model just had a rolling update to it's dac chip. It's now using the same chip in the much more expensive Bitfrost. I've got it and it sounds really good.

  I don't know you but when I saw all the posts hoping you were okay my heart dropped a little. I'm glad you're okay.   I too have dealt with addiction to opiates and it's not fun. I was able to wean myself off by taking Kratom, a plant based opiate. I couldn't go cold turkey like that.

I actually would like a recommendation for a good tube amp with a high affinity for Grado's. Something that meets or exceeds the quality of the Little Dot but can also run higher impedance, hard to run headphones as well. Maybe the Schiit Lyre 2?

Anyone know a good place to buy a pair of M8083 tubes? I don't see any on Yen's Audio store, practically the only trusted place I've read about. 

So I'm running Windows 10 with Foobar 2000 and the Wasapi component. There's a few settings I'm not sure what to set to or what they even do. Under device, I can either select "Wasapi (event OR push) : speakers 3- USB Modi Device". So two settings there,event and push, not sure if one is better...

I switched the toggle of my Modi 2 uber in the back to off. Windows still recognizes it in playback devices. Can even see the volume meter going up and down if music's playing. That means I have the new updated one? We're still leaving it plugged into the wall outlet, right?
