Huge Comparison of [almost] all the Best Bluetooth Headphones - post your own comparisons here

Not so fast ;-)   Just because a headphone natively supports the AAC format doesn't mean it sounds better with your device.   For example Headphone A supports AAC, Headphone B doesn't. Headphone B still might sound better than Headphone A due to better parts, design, manufacturing...

My brief understanding is yes...and no.   Here is an excerpt from some brief research I had recently done...   "At least in theory, Bluetooth transmitters automatically default to the “best” quality codec available. The default Bluetooth stereo audio codec, SBC, can sound quite good with the...

Becoming more and more happy with my Backbeat Pro. Still have no clue what the Level's sound like with ANC active. Those would probably be the only one's I'd consider leaving the BBP for (pending that ANC/sound test) but at the price point I think I'm happy enough.    For what it's worth I...

There demo model was not chaged, you need a charged batter for Noise Cancelling to work. MicroUSB charges battery, or supplies it power if there is no battery.

Those aren't noise cancelling. Bose should just charge $50 more and give everyone the best of both worlds...then decisions might be easier. I went to BestBuy today to try the Level Over...unfortunately the lady was a turd, really rude too. She wouldn't let me attach a microusb to test the noise...

I won't get the Bose, audio quality is above average not great...noise cancelling is the best on the market...but, they aren't wireless which defeats the purpose of my purchase. I wonder if Best buy will let me try the Level Overs.

I like the Backbeat Pro. Audio quality is very good as you guys described. The controls on the headset take away from the aesthetics but are very functional. The only negative, and it's a fairly big is one...is the Noise Cancelling, it's not good. It does get rid of some low end rumbling but the...

My Backbeat Pro arrived today, charging it now but I wanted to let everyone know there are firmware updates, mine arrived with version 19. The latest (version 22) includes Improved Audio Quality. It was released on December 4th, also if you use My Headset Updater from Plantronics you can...

Nice.   I hope $ is not taboo on this site...is the best price (US) generally at Amazon, it seems brick and mortar around me don't carry them?

Thanks for the response. I listen to a very very wide and eclectic range of music, would either of those headsets be pigeon-holed into a category where they'd only be good for rap/jazz/rock...etc?   I'm starting to lean towards giving the Backbeats a chance, stupid society has just driven in...

Thank you guys for your awesome info, this thread alone enticed me to join this forum.   I was set on the Samsung Level (I use Android) but after reading this review I'm now 50/50 with the Backbeat Pro.   I have some nice cans I use for my home theater system and I'm not expecting that out...
