Radsone EarStudio ES100
It'd be very helpfull if you can post a picture of the battery which can run for 20+ hr. I've tryed different make battaries from Aliexpress and the longest time they can last with my 800st is like 5-7 hours depending on the volume, not to mention that they all degrade in capasity super fast. I...- skeptical

You're good with Fiio A5, ideally it would be an amp. with bass boost switch but eq-ed and vent taped it will do. Forget about dongles, from them 800st sounds mediocre at best. If you want to go minimalistic, get yourself an es100 and 2.5mm cable or something else. You need to push into them...- skeptical

I believe having so many different kind of drivers it takes a lot of work from manufacture to coherently tune them, hence something like Fat Frequency Maestro are out of my budget. I'm very rough with my iems and it's not the mater of if but when I'll destroy them, so I always have to keep in...- skeptical

What's the power supply? Bass= Power. 800st are the most boxed woofer like experience in $200 range but it requires tons of power to achieve that. If you plug them in something like ES100, then 2.5 mm cable with ultra low resistance is a Must have, and even then, it's barely enough but I'm...- skeptical

Sorry I forgot to mention, that app has some odd settings interface but you have to do it just once. Make sure your es100 is paired with the best quality audio bluetooth from phone bluetooth settings but no music should be playing, just in standing by in paired mode. In es100 app all of...- skeptical

I've had the same problem with my Samsung S10e. Everytime I turned es100 off and back on it didn't lose Ldac but it was losing its highest Ldac setting in developer mode. Instead of Ldac best playback quality it was Ldac the best effort which is worse to me. I solved this problem once in for...- skeptical

Sure, but this will be the true my sound representation only if you have on them ePro ear tips, upocc 2.5 balanced cable on High (2x Voltage) audio output and 0.7071wide EQ control. Congrats on es100 present:ok_hand: I like it more than Qudelix 5k. Merry Christmas & Happy New...- skeptical

I didn't say counterfeit, I meant you're taking a higher chance of buying a lesser of quality product and more hassle to return if something is not right and it has to go back. For example poor cable contacts, not all of ear tips included, one phone louder than other, just to name a few. Amazon...- skeptical

Higher chance of getting the real deal vs some crapy quality. I got mine from amazon for $106 only because they were black and with black cable which later I replaced anyway.- skeptical

That makes sense , thanks for pointing it out, quantity and subs are what mostly matters the most here. Did you happen to roll up cables , which one you liked the best? I like 800st with cryo upocc soundwise but I'd prefer something more flexible- skeptical

Removing filters mostly effects mids and highs. When you tape 800st you achieve a massive impact in bass but vocals become unnatural to me, I feel them claustrophobic and not very clear. Removing those fitters solve this problem. Bass loses a negligible bit of that massive impact but taped 800st...- skeptical

I'm looking for bulk 7n copper wires, super soft and dark brown or black colors like the wires of black Maestro from Effect audio 24-26 awg thick. Hi there. Have anyone compered ex1k to ex800st with filters removed? I'd love to hear some impressions on that preferably from an es100 balanced powered source and with a straight mmcx to exk adapter it looks like the phone design is begging to be worn straight down rather than in unpractical...- skeptical

O.k. I searched for that cable, the page in Chinese and google translate doesn't work on it but the cable and the store looks legit. Now you're talking. The link doesn't open though. Disregard 8n that's b/s, but when they say single cristal copper they meant high purity copper and if they mentioned litz that's even better. No, you Should look for N, it stands for 9 and it reflects purity. For example 99.999998% purity means 7N (seven nines total count) The original sony cable does not mean high purity copper, you should ask sony what is the copper purity of ex800st cable, I think is 5n. I never owned ex800st...- skeptical
