Beyerdynamic T90 Discussion and Support Thread
It might also be because of the burn in time that it sounds better. New drivers tend to be harsh sounding.- jesterdist

Between Shure SE846 and JH Audio 16 Pro, which one should I buy?
If you want it to sound more natural, I'd suggest JH 16. They're less coloured in a sense, compared to the SE846. Both do have a slight boost in the lower frequencies though.- jesterdist

$1295 Aurender FLOW - portable DAC/amp with mSATA slot for up to 1TB SSD
I'm using Poweramp app (downloaded from google play) to access the files and I'm using the stock micro usb to micro usb. I think you have to select the correct OS on the FLOW. Either that or MAYBE Nexus might not be compatible. Is your mSATA Samsung brand?- jesterdist

$1295 Aurender FLOW - portable DAC/amp with mSATA slot for up to 1TB SSD
It works! I guess only the Samsung mSATA is compatible with the FLOW so far, and I am loving it! There is a significant change in sound quality, I can't quite explain it yet but it seems more smooth? I paired it up with my Samsung Note 2 to play the songs in the mSATA disk. The disk size is 64...- jesterdist

$1295 Aurender FLOW - portable DAC/amp with mSATA slot for up to 1TB SSD
It turns out the size doesn't matter because the mSATA doesn't seem to be compatible. I've read the manual and it seems they mentioned a Samsung branded mSATA should work. I'll update when I've tested that out.- jesterdist

CEntrance HiFi M8 for Fiio X5?
In terms of power, I'd say the M8 has more range of headphones to cover but the X5 will give you more convenience since it is a player. If you're using the Audeze I would suggest the M8.- jesterdist

DT770 Question
If you're using the HD280 then the bass in DT770 will feel less but it will be cleaner sounding and more accurate. In a sense, the DT770 is considered quite neutral in it's range of products in my opinion.- jesterdist

Are Beyerdynamic DT770 80ohm supposed to sound like this?
I believe it is the amp that is causing the issues because the E6 is not really compatible with 80ohm headphones.- jesterdist
