Yes my music was imported to sonicstage and is in atrac format, If you could take a look at the options on this at some point I'd appreicate that, obviously I'll take a look and see if there is anythin I can spot. If I can't alter an option relating to this issue I'll have to look at...- chrisco

Looking to upgrade from HD555's
Prog Rock/Floyd requires soundstage which would make me say the 595s. Rap/hip hop and techno are excellent out of the 595s as well. Steely Dan/Pop would probably be better out of the Grados- chrisco

From what I have heard the DT990 are very enjoyable but add a lot of colouration to music something that the 5956s do not do. I have heard it said by a lot of people that quite a lot of music sounds samey on the DT990 because of the colouration. Can I just bust the myth that the 595s...- chrisco
