Hey, have there been any updates on the availability of the ER4SR/XR in Etymotic's own store? I have been waiting for almost two months now for them to restock but the hints I have been getting from all around the Internet (stores running out of stock and not restocking, replacement parts...

I wish I knew what was up with the availability of ER4SR/XR in their store. I've been waiting for weeks now for them to restock so I can send in my old ER-4PT with a dying cable and get a nice discount towards my purchase of the SR.

Well, I think the filesystem thing is probably the culprit. When I bought the card, I don't think I tried to format it since it worked out-of-the-box. And, as I said, both the DX50 and my Galaxy Note 3 have no problem accessing data on it. I guess I'll have to format it properly if I get the X5...

Hey guys, I tried both X5 and DX50 in a hi-fi store here in Prague yesterday (I wasn't all that interested in the latter but the shop assistant said I might want to give it a go so what the heck...) and I have to say the X5 had the better sound of these two. It seemed to have wider sound stage...

Sorry, I did not mean it that way. I should have worded it differently. So, first of all, thanks for that bit of info, olddude. It was just that I did check quite a few posts by James but haven't seen any mention of anything about a release date. Thanks again.

Would be nice if it was indeed so but so far I haven't seen this estimate anywhere else. I might even postpone my getting the X5/E12A, although it would be really hard. :D But it still says "2x mSD", which does not seem to be the case anymore.

Hmm, I was almost hell-bent to get the X5 ASAP (probably along with E12A since that also helps the SQ a little) but it seems the X7 may not be a too distant future now so I will probably sit back and wait a little while till it arrives.   EDIT: OK, according to the post at...
