Earbuds Round-Up
I see, I don't EQ anything ever. I feel if you do that the headphones lose their unique signature and there's no point in having several different types- SunshineSketch

Earbuds Round-Up
The shape of those remind me of a pair of buds I had long along that they no longer make. I'll have to give those a shot as well. Buds being $5-10 makes it a lot easier to just try things Oh those look quite nice too- SunshineSketch

Earbuds Round-Up
Based on what I found earlier in the thread 1.0+ seems to be the better option in terms of sound for me. So I guess I'm looking between those and EMX500S.- SunshineSketch

Earbuds Round-Up
Can someone who owns or has tried both tell me what is better between Snow Lotus 1.0 and 1.0+ versions? Plus version seems harder to track down and has a standard cable unlike the regular 1.0- SunshineSketch

Massdrop x Sennheiser HD 58X Jubilee Review & Measurements
Ordered these to give them a try, I went with them over 6xx to try something newer I guess and that I've read it's a more well rounded headphone. I haven't used anything Sennheiser in a few years so I'm a little excited- SunshineSketch

AP80 - Hidizs next portable Hi-Res music player
I'm interested in it depending on what the battery life is like. If it's not Android based it should be alright.- SunshineSketch

Colorfly C200
So from what I'm reading this player was cut off from updates before it was fixed completely. Guess that's why It's selling for $99 consistently on eBay now. C10 is better option?- SunshineSketch

Seiun player, $150 player with monster spec. Too good to be true?
Does the UI of the simple player seem really annoying for larger collections of music? I'm looking for something small and want to know if I should jump on this for $45 at indiegogo or go with the more trusted xDuoo X2 or Fiio's new mini player.- SunshineSketch

XDuoo X3 DSD 24Bit / 192KHz CS4398 Chip Lossless Music Player
Oh low stock must be to blame, it was around $105 on eBay a few days ago, now it's up to $150.- SunshineSketch

SansaClip+ Rockbox Impressions thread
Well honestly, getting the HiSound isn't a problem at all. And I know their Studio V is quality so I wonder if it carried over. I looked at the Fiio, yeah, it's something to keep in mind.- SunshineSketch

SansaClip+ Rockbox Impressions thread
Literally between this and the Hisound Nova and I'm leaning toward this since the nova has so few reviews. Every other DAP in the price range I looked at has something wrong. Anyone here tried both and can give advice? And if so should I go clip+ or clip zip? Colorfly C3 - having to add...- SunshineSketch

The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")
I don't want the 2000s that much and I don't see myself ever dropping 250 on a pair, especially that I have to import.. Besides, the 1000 are apparently less veiled so there's that. I don't want to be super limited as to what I can listen to with headphones. I searched around this forum and it...- SunshineSketch

The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")
Oh I know the LP2 are a big upgrade. My question was more about the fit. The headband on the m80 simply doesn't extend enough and I don't know if it would be the same with LP2 since they're also made by v-moda- SunshineSketch

The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")
JVC HA-SZ1000 (can't swing for the 2000s) or V-Moda LP2? They will be plugged into a dac/amp. Basically I bought some V-moda m80s and they're quite small on me so I'm likely returning them. So if anyone is familiar with the LP/2 line and knows if they're just as small.. let me know? I posted...- SunshineSketch

Hello, Question about CD Players
Yeah, mostly the computer I would imagine. Okay thanks for the quick reply! I'll be sure to get that as soon as I can. Wish I could go buy it in a store rather than having to order everything online but that's nothing new. Actually I'm looking at the SMSL SD793-II. Is that okay too? I do...- SunshineSketch

Hello, Question about CD Players
I just ordered the 598s. Thanks to everyone in this thread that offered opinions and suggestions :) Will certainly be keeping the information about DAPs on hand. Could I get away with just using a Fiio E6 with this or should I spring for an E10K?- SunshineSketch

Hello, Question about CD Players
Honestly, I can never get IEMs to sit right in one of my ears, plus I just don't like the feel of them. I've given up on looking for some for a while. But it's all a preference thing, you know?- SunshineSketch

Hello, Question about CD Players
I've heard it's pretty sturdy, either way, yeah I think I'd like a bigger screen. iBasso DX50 is a possibility, not really a fan of the tiny touchscreen though to be honest.- SunshineSketch

Hello, Question about CD Players
Yes, I've read quite a few reviews here and elsewhere. It's not the first time I've looked into the headphones, and I've tried them out once before. Reading up on the Q701 and it doesn't sound like something I'd prefer for a few reasons. The lack of warmth, some complaints about the fit, and it...- SunshineSketch

Hello, Question about CD Players
I've taken a day or so to think about things and read around here. I have to accept that you're all right and a PCDP is pointless now. Instead I'll use my budget in a more logical way. First I'll upgrade my headphones to the midrange HD 598s. Then I guess ill look into DAPs, since I actually...- SunshineSketch

Hello, Question about CD Players
Truthfully I find that I sometimes forget what I even have on my library on the computer, or ignore it. Plus I'm not always at my PC when I want to listen to music. Digital is fine and all but I still like to buy CDs (and vinyl sometimes, for that matter.) Assuming that I want a Portable CD...- SunshineSketch
