Loud static when I turn my Lepai amp to max with Micca bookshelf speakers
If I get a sound card, would I just plug the Lepai amp into the cards 3.5mm green stereo output slot? I'm thinking of buying the Sound Blaster Z PCIe Gaming Sound Card. But is a sound card really worth the extra money with an amp?- pewpewdave

Loud static when I turn my Lepai amp to max with Micca bookshelf speakers
I've also read that it could be mouse interference but my mouse was made in 2014, razer naga, and it has a thick wire. Just to make sure, I disconnected the mouse and had no cables touching, plugged it into the front USB and still heard the static and buzz when I moved my cursor.- pewpewdave

You mean the ac adapter for the amp? It came as a 2 prong. It's connected to my surge protector and my PC which is 3 prong is connected to the wall outlet.- pewpewdave
