@BartSimpson1976: hidizs told me that the german localization is done by the german distributor. so to me, it sounds like the ap200 will be officially available in germany and that i wont have to resort to a chinese online store.

is it possible to help them with the german translation as well? i would like to do it. okay, just saw your reply: i'll contact them.

  why usb-c when it's not usb 3.1? in my humble opinion, disguising usb 2.0 in a usb-c connector is eyewash. limiting the connector to usb 2.0 cuts off all of the benefits of ubs-c. so why not sticking to micro usb?

the small screen looks ridiculous. the bezels are huge. and the ui seems to be pretty laggy. hopefully the hidizs ap200 is an alternative...

can someone elaborate why manufacturers don't go with usb-c? are there some limitations of type c with regard to usb out? i really don't get why one would not want the faster transfer speeds of usb 3.1.   to my knowledge there are only 3 daps with usb type c connector cayin i5 shanling m1...

i wanted to give syncmate and dapper a new try and now in dapper i cannot select the ak70's drives which are already mounted with syncmate. they are greyed out when i want to select them. in finder, the ak70's are readable and writeable. resetting dapper did not help. any suggestions?    ...

and you did use your ak70 in a pocket of a jacket? it seems to me that it charges due to the rubbing on the cotton fabric and then discharges.

is it also possible to deactivate cover photo extraction? i don't want additional files in my folders since my dap seems to be capable of displaying embedded cover art.
