FIIO, Any word on a firmware update for the X5III to address the Amazon Music HD playback issue?

Could anyone describe the import/duty process or fees for an order to the US? Tried to search and didn't find much. Really interested in the H8.2's but want an idea of the process before I take the plunge.

Can't speak for the other two models, but I love the CX 300s I had. They were my intro to Sennheiser and helped me realize that I had been missing out. I later got the IM02s and would miss the nice low end of the Senns.

I agree. This transparency is what has made me a fan of Schiit. To me, its odd that in this particular case they have been lacking in keeping us updated. If we look back at Yggy's countdown, Mike (Baldr) kept everyone informed. Even when there were delays, just knowing up front helped keep...

I have to agree here(except the not placing the order). Normally, the transparency displayed by Schiit is great....but this time I think they fell short. Heck, even Jason told me at Canjam SoCal that he thought they would start shipping a week later. That was......well...many many  weeks ago.  ...

Anyone have any update on the latest batch? I know Alex from Schiit said sometime mid-May. Curious if anyone had emailed Schiit again.

I think the point is that if you are looking and willing to spend $1000+ on a DAC at all....you are probably looking for the best your money can buy, and if you can hold out, you might as well save for, what some say, is the best offering in recent history.   I get it and I used the same...

I too ordered Rag a few weeks back. I asked Jason at CanJam about possible shipping dates and he gave a probable ship date of next week. Apparently, they were waiting on some parts to arrive in order to start building the latest batch.
