The HM5 replacement pad works just fine, looks slightly oval but it works great. I've had mine over a year and no issues.- TheDragonGuy

The biggest drop since the twin towers. This really sounds good on the JVC SZ2000s. MFW I hope this doesn't get me banned Edit: Fellow bassheads you should check out the following channel if you like trap.- TheDragonGuy

Honestly flat eq is just fine but you can use standard bass boost or tailor it to your liking. The highs are lowered to allow the amp to give bass while not stabbing you with high pitch crap.- TheDragonGuy

Heres another vid showing the difference between high and low gain. It's kind of a pain to get these tests set up with these pads as they give me a hard time getting the paper to lay flat. Hope you all enjoy. Even on low gain turned all the way up your inner ear is shaking.- TheDragonGuy

I would say they in no way struggle with vocals unless you do a bad eq which is easy if you just merely take some standard preset bass boost eqs. Even if you just use an amp and no eq you get great bass and pretty darn good vocals and all other sounds.- TheDragonGuy

I completely disagree with this. The sz2000s handle vocals and genres besides bass heavy stuff just fine if you have a good eq or just leave it flat. If you talk from listening to one you must have had a bad eq or a defective set of cans. I've listened to all sorts of music from hip hop to...- TheDragonGuy

I quite like it without any eq. Just a flat response gives decent bass. Not booming bass but its still pretty pleasant. I listen a good bit with a flat eq.- TheDragonGuy

You don't really need it that high. I cringe with it on my head at that volume. It in now way can be healthy to listen at that volume as my eardrums are basically yelling "STOP KILLING US DUMMY" Haha.- TheDragonGuy

For example I bought the JVC hasz2000. Personally I don't think it was too bad at only 220 USD. It was fun to listen to unamped. Just buy the best phones you can and save up for an amp. I definitely recommend the JVC but its up to you to weigh the pros and cons of the top 10...cost, size, etc.- TheDragonGuy
