Bluewave Audio Get - Bluetooth 5.0 AptX HD 24 bit amp/DAC
Hi Pierre, Thanks for the information. Whilst that's disappointing, I can understand and appreciate that you don't want to commit yourself to another date you may miss and make yourself liable to more complaints from people if you don't deliver before said date. With that said, I also...- Scotty141

Bluewave Audio Get - Bluetooth 5.0 AptX HD 24 bit amp/DAC
Hi Pierre, Thanks for the response and the update. So given your knowledge, and being 100% completely honest, when do you expect delivery for people who haven't already pre-ordered it? If I pre-order it right now, given I'd be the last person in the queue to get their GET, when do you expect...- Scotty141

Bluewave Audio Get - Bluetooth 5.0 AptX HD 24 bit amp/DAC
I remember reading Karendar, but 6 months of delivery backlogs doesn't bode well for anyone making pre-orders now, and definitely doesn't give a good outlook for the product and company as a whole. I noticed @Pierre111 is usually pretty speedy with his replies on here so I'm surprised he hasn't...- Scotty141

Bluewave Audio Get - Bluetooth 5.0 AptX HD 24 bit amp/DAC
Hey Pierre111, What's the ETA on shipping? I've read the comments from the disgruntled IndieGogo backers that backed it in December 2016 and expected the product to be delivered to them in April 2017... It's September now and you haven't fulfilled your orders for your backers yet, so when do you...- Scotty141

Need a bada** speaker for loud listening and apartment parties
Sorry for the very late reply! Been preoccupied with work, listening to these awesome speakers and other things and it completely slipped my mind until recently! That sounds amazing! Got my mouth watering here! Can't say I'm a fan of that pork liver in pork blood though, and the...- Scotty141

Need a bada** speaker for loud listening and apartment parties
Ahhhhh got it! Thanks! Oh right ok... Makes sense then Hmmmm... OK so before this topic I never heard of a preamp (before now I only entered the CIEM market of audiophile-land haha) so why is the preamp function so important? Yeah ok I see your point... See whilst that...- Scotty141

Need a bada** speaker for loud listening and apartment parties
Ahhh right! Yeah see outside the Audio scene then, they're only pretty much good for light bulbs as far as I know. They haven't really kept up in other areas, that's why I questioned it. Wow that review is certainly a great one, they speak very highly of the Wharfedale's! Since 2005...- Scotty141

Need a bada** speaker for loud listening and apartment parties
Yeah see this is why I came to you guys! I didnt know jack about any of that! I was ever so close to getting the Sony's more on an impulse but definitely glad I didn't! Hmmm ok but wouldn't it still be better to stream TIDAL at 1411kbps, then assuming some loss via BT, surely anything...- Scotty141

Need a bada** speaker for loud listening and apartment parties
Oh wow ok... So many different things to consider! Never even thought about this option! Not sure if I'd be one to build up a system just yet, but it's an intriguing idea! Thanks for the links, especially from Amazon UK! Can't say I've ever heard of Wharfedale? Are they any good? And do I...- Scotty141

Need a bada** speaker for loud listening and apartment parties
Indeed I noticed! The first link wasn't working though and funnily enough when I was looking through the website I had my eye on those two that you mentioned anyway! The S1000DB looks like the best option since it has Apt-X, whilst the R2000DB doesn't have it, nor LDAC so that's a put off. If...- Scotty141

Hmm interesting, didn't know that. I'm a beginner audiophile so I'm still learning haha. Yes that's why I said also, I did notice! Yes I did look at the edifier website but their mobile site is terrible if you don't know exactly what you're looking for, and I'm on vacation so have no access to...- Scotty141

Need a bada** speaker for loud listening and apartment parties
Hmm I know you can buy two and link them up so you have 'true stereo' but then that's double the price and they're already expensive (for me). What's your thoughts on that? Do you still think they'd be on equal ground with the "pro monitor market"? I'm always weary when buying dated products...- Scotty141

Yeah it would just be on occasion so I suppose it wouldn't be too bad! Ahh gotcha, thank you! I'll take a look at what's best. What were your thoughts on any of the speakers I mentioned in the post? Or is it really not worth looking into those standalone Bluetooth speakers?- Scotty141

Thanks for the info! The R2600's look great and well priced! (Does it come as a set do you know? The KRK's that cel suggested also look great too! Are these both plug-and-plays if I bought the Bluetooth adapter that cel mentioned? Also what did you think of the Sony's I mentioned in the post...- Scotty141

Hmm that's a good idea cel, thank you! No they don't need to be portable but it's always an added bonus to have the luxury of moving from room to room with ease. How hard would it be to move these around do you think? And does the Bluetooth adapter just plug into a dedicated port? Or will it use...- Scotty141

Need a bada** speaker for loud listening and apartment parties
Hey guys! I'm looking to find a speaker that I can use to play to myself in my room or at flat/apartment parties. In my own time I usually play music quite loud and obviously at a party it needs to be loud so loudness and clarity needs to be of high importance. I have TIDAL and want a Bluetooth...- Scotty141

Jay Z To Buy Tidal For $56M?
So I think Jay-Z's used his high-profile celeb friends to help promote Tidal, which is great and looks like it's got some exclusives coming its way! Artists like Rihanna, Daft Punk, Beyonce, Kanye West, Madonna, Taylor Swift, Coldplay, Calvin Harris, etc. all seemed to have signed up and... -

Centrance upcoming product for Iphone 5 above and Ipod Touch 5 : Hi Fi SKYN
I'm not at all an expert (as DrSheep will know), but isn't it dependant on your gear as to which amp you may want/need? For example I'll only use it with a set of CIEMs so there's no point me getting the Amp Extreme- Scotty141
