I have both the 650s and the 598s. Low gain switch is definitely your friend with the 598s but amplification does clean them up nicely.

The Asgard 2 and Bifrost are an upgrade from my Fiio e7/e9 combo.  With Windows 8.1 I was getting glitches and connectivity issues every once in a while due to port power management.  Wyrd corrected my problem.  I personally didn't detect any sonic changes with the e7/e9 and haven't tried the...

My Schiit finally showed up today!  Foobar -> Wyrd -> Bifrost Uber -> Asgard 2 -> HD650's.  So far I am blown away!
