Bowers & Wilkins PX Noise-Cancelling Over-ears
OK here is what my First Impression. I just got it today, so my opinion about sound quality and comfort may change. I have recently bought QC35. I got wired P7 as well. I got numerous other headphone including PM-3, HD650, good old QC15, Focal Elear, etc. I used MDR-1000X before, but their...- ELPCU

AAW Capri Balanced Lightning Audio Cable, with Type-C variant
I do not think that's the reason.... Most balanced headphone cable is analog cable, so it is totally different story.... balanced cable do not need any software.... the reason why balanced cable do not support microphone is they need to use all 4 pins of 3.5mm headphone jack. Most common one...- ELPCU

AAW Capri Balanced Lightning Audio Cable, with Type-C variant
I have 2 capri cables(both 2 pin), and both have hiss issue. I am assuming it is because of poor DAC. I tried with my main CIEMs ( Hidition NT-6 & Viento-B ) and Cheap IEM. and every single situation, there is hiss. Now, I am assuming this is DAC problem, and it is consistent---but it just...- ELPCU

Bowers&Wilkins new flagship the P9!
This is a typical argument in these kinds of community have. Think about this way. You are listening comments about beverage. Someone likes it, and someone does not. It all depends on personal taste. Even if flavor of food is totally same, if you are hungry, you may find it is really...- ELPCU

Bowers&Wilkins new flagship the P9!
Yes and no. P7 have a tad bit more bass than flat(complete balance) based on Harman International standard(if you go to website such as innerfidelty, there is measurement data), and I do get similar impression with P9 as well after using it for several days. But again, I am talking a tad bit...- ELPCU

Bowers&Wilkins new flagship the P9!
Personally, I do not like "too dark" or "too bright" because of ambiguity. It usually refers too much bass. Bass/low frequency is described as dark or warm sound, while treble/high frequency sound described as bright. Note increasing all bass / mid / high frequency at same time evenly means...- ELPCU

Interesting how I disagree with your opinion(Cons. Nothing worth mentioning). I have never heard K3003 before, but it has one serious flaw for me. Which is not having a detachable cable. This cons alone literally stops me from putting K3003 into candidate of my shopping list. #1 reason of...- ELPCU

JH Audio Angie Impressions and Discussion Thread
No, I didn't. No offense, but I highly, highly doubt my opinion would change even if I heard them. assuming measurement is correct. Unless we are comparing totally different driver unit mechanism(ex: comparing full size electrostatic with this) FR has been one of the biggest aspects...- ELPCU

JH Audio Angie Impressions and Discussion Thread
What a disappointing FR result. JH Audio advertised Angie and Lalya as 'reference' IEM. and It turns out Angie lacks mid-high(or low treble) and ultra high. I dunno about layla and I am not gonna say Angie is a bad IEM, but it seems Angie is clearly not a great "reference" IEM IMO. ...- ELPCU

Why are Balanced Armatures generally more expensive?
Good grab. 40 bucks? that's cheap. I believe Phonak cost over 100 bucks... around 150. I guess they are selling leftover after they have been discontinued. Even so, 40 bucks sound great deal.- ELPCU

Why are Balanced Armatures generally more expensive?
I am not angry, since I see some of your point, but I am just agreeing not all of them. Etymotic Research lacks bass, slightly, true. However, this is not mainly due to BA issue. Etymotic Research intentionally aimed FLAT based on diffused field compensated graph with their own...- ELPCU

Why are Balanced Armatures generally more expensive?
My question can be also rephrased into "why does nobody make or cannot make cheap/decent BA?". It seems it is going into "Which came first, the chicken or the egg?" argument. :P I am assuming manufacturer cannot make them, (because they are not coming out yet) and asking why. And...- ELPCU

Why are Balanced Armatures generally more expensive?
True, but if you go to link, you will realize that they are selling cheaper if you get more. 1: $46.86 5: $44.69 10: $43.93 25: $39.54 50: $36.61 100: $35.87 250: $35.14 Note typical dynamic driver costs usually less than 3~4 bucks per...- ELPCU

Why are Balanced Armatures generally more expensive?
Another answer I was not looking for :( I understand crossovers of Multi-BA IEM is another issue. But my question is not 'why are BA IEMs expensive?' but 'why are BA themselves more expensive'(generally) I am specifically talking about only BA themselves. Like ...- ELPCU

Why are Balanced Armatures generally more expensive?
Unfortunately, that is not the answer I was looking for. BA driver is originally used in hearing aid. However, because IEM manufacturer found out that BA driver has some advantages such as size and sound accuracy(and marketing point as well), in which you have already...- ELPCU

Why are Balanced Armatures generally more expensive?
Why are Balanced Armatures generally more expensive compared to dynamic drivers? I mean, when we talks about earphones(or IEM), BA seems becoming popular choice. I know generally BA driver has higher price point than typical dynamic driver But I want to know why. I mean more than...- ELPCU

Reply to review by 'elpcu' on item 'OPPO PM-3'
Thanks for review, but dude, one thing is WRONG. Yes, I mean wrong. not 'disagree' The earpads are removable. It takes some forces to disassemble pad, and re-assemble mechanism is little bit awkward, but the earpads are clearly removeable. Check this out. I just got my PM-3, and photo from...- ELPCU
