Chord 2Go & 2Yu Wired/Wireless Network streamer and S/PDIF adaptor - Official thread
There’s too many variables with wifi drop-outs. While 2go is more sensitive to network issues, I would say that I realised I have certain weak network spots in my home because of wifi streaming with 2go. Using a mobile app to check the wifi speed is impt in terms of troubleshooting wifi issues...- soundify

Chord 2Go & 2Yu Wired/Wireless Network streamer and S/PDIF adaptor - Official thread
For those having skips during Roon playback, I was able to resolve this issue by identifying the root cause of the problem which is certain areas in my room have lower wifi speed transfer. I use this mobile app called Wifisweetspots to position it in specific areas that have playback skips and...- soundify

Sony Z1R....listening impressions only
They sound different. Z1R sounds warmer and has more bass. Hd820 sounds tighter with less bass and more extended highs. Hd820 requires more amp power too. I used chord Hugo 2 to drive them both and I do like the sound of both of them.- soundify

Sony Z1R....listening impressions only
Completely agree with you. I never liked the sound from the silver plated copper of the stock cable. The Sony kimber sounds less harsh than stock cable. UPOCC Cables however, provides greater clarity without sounding harsh.- soundify

Sony Z1R....listening impressions only
The Taiwanese cable brand is called Original Cable (OC Studio). Very affordable and good quality. I have the 8 wire OCC copper version and it sounds better than the Sony kimber. http://www.originalcable.com/ https://m.ruten.com.tw/class/store_list.php?s=davidboyman&d=2912283&o=3&m=1 If...- soundify

Sony Z1R....listening impressions only
Draug v3 copper cables. They sound amazing. I didn’t go for the silver cause is very expensive and I’ve always find silver fatiguing to listen to for long periods.- soundify

Sony Z1R....listening impressions only
For Z1R. To connect Z1R to Chord Hugo. I had the Sony Kimber single ended and balanced version before for my WM1A. Didn’t like it as much as my Taiwanese OCC Cables which is UPOCC copper cables. Sony Kimber Cables sounds warmer and less clear- soundify

Schiit Eitr impression and USB-SPDIF converters discussion
I’m wondering whether it is possible to user a power bank with the Schiit Eitr to make it transportable? Something like this https://www.ipoweradd.com/products/poweradd-pilot-pro-32000mah-power-bank-portable-charger-for-laptop- soundify

Norne Audio (Was: Norse Audio): Feedback & Impression Thread
Yeah, that was one of my considerations as well. If the draug silvers were the same price as the coppers then it would be an easier decision :)- soundify

Norne Audio (Was: Norse Audio): Feedback & Impression Thread
Can anyone please share the sound characteristics differences between Draug v3 and Draug Silver? I’m using Focal Clear with Chord Hugo 2 and would like a resolving cable that doesn’t sound too bright or with the soundstage too wide because it gets tiring after listening for an hour. Thanks.- soundify

Astell & Kern KANN - DAP with Massive Storage & Battery
I like the flexibility of the KANN. The ability to drive IEMs and headphones is great. I like the musical sound of it too. Also, i got it for transport purposes which hopefully, will sound fantastic once my hugo 2 arrives. I like that it's the only AK dap that supports micro USB transport mode.- soundify

The Official Sony MDR-Z1R Flagship Headphone Thread (Live From IFA 2016)
For those who are looking for a DAP for their Z1R, I highly recommend the AK KANN. In 2.5mm balanced mode at high gain, it delivers music with authority, great musicality, transparency, soundstage and separation. Better than the WM1A in 4.4mm balanced mode.- soundify

Astell & Kern KANN - DAP with Massive Storage & Battery
2.5mm gives more authority, lower noise floor and better separation. Drives Z1R with ease. Unlike the WM1A which felt a bit lacking even in balanced mode.- soundify

Astell & Kern KANN - DAP with Massive Storage & Battery
I have issues with battery draining very fast as well as battery taking too Long to charge. Leaving the KANN on standby for around 10-12 hours will drain around 40%. This is after listening to Tidal with wifi turned on and Bluetooth off. As for battery charging, even after 9 hours of charge...- soundify
