My current portable set-up is a OnePlus One using USB OTG with an Audioquest Dragonfly 1.2 DAC/Amp. Can anyone comment on the V10's HiFi DAC versus the Dragonfly?

If you wear them down they're fairly heavy. It doesn't bother me much but it's noticeable. That being said you can wear them over-ear and they don't feel heavy at all that way.

You sound like a good candidate for the Flare Audio R2 Pros. Laid back treble with beautiful mids and great Bass response. They also have a massive soundstage and are very clear. You can get them pretty cheap second hand too. Should leave you with more than enough cash for a good portable amp.

Considering the use of a rare material, the price-to-performance ratio and cable quality I feel like I can excuse it.

It's plastic. It's odd considering otherwise the earphone feels somewhat premium for the price point.

Tips are fine to me. Although these do leak more than my PFE 232 they're still good enough to me. I feel like Comply's could be an upgrade for isolation and comfort but given the already bassy sound signature I'm concerned it may be a downgrade in sound quality.

These perform above their price-point with top notch build quality as well as some pretty meaty Bass so you can't go wrong with the Zn.

USB Audio Player gives the best sound quality, I've used Poweramp too and it doesn't touch UAP in terms of sound quality. Not to mention with UAP you can use an amp with USB OTG. Currently using a Dragonfly 1.2 with it and its an amazing portable setup.
