So back to my x1 rant like 16 pages back, i had some issues with too high highs and not enouch warmth, also some bass, for the past days i have been using topping nx1 with my X1 and did eas up a bit on the clarity, since it seems better, and just then everything started to look good too the fiio...

What is the point off having even 2k+ songs? You just CANT love them all, so eventually track skiping will start for the search off the song 'for that moment' ATM i use a 16gb card with 380 songs, and still skip tracks, i think a part off being an audiophile means to have a playlist with songs...

Earphones for a fact, but electronical, non moving parts? Seems very strange, the only part, that can "burn in" i think could be the battery, maybe someone can share more light on this?

Guys, you talk about amp burn in, i do get it, then it comes to earphones, but what is where to burn in, in an amp?

Why no one is using a real EQ for volume, bass and treble? Most of the devices could get rid of the knob, improv EQ since it would be not in software and overall smoothen the shape of devices

i will see if i can hear a diference with a NX1, if not, I'll probably get my hearing cheked, maybe I'm missing out on some tones, i know my earphones are not that good, but they should do the job (?) there has to be something wrong in my equation, since people in <200$ rigs thread are happy...

With out an amp, maybe i'm just really used to biger volumes, but something like 25-30ish is like listening to people wispering

This very well could be, for the past 6/7 years, any audio source i had, i used to push it just a bit before distortion could be noticable

that's my normal listening volumes, anything under 70 is just too quiet for me, 40/50 is something i listen to at night before sleep

I have no idea if its faulty or not, since no option to compare with other one, about the card, it is sandisk, BUT it could be fake i think, since came cheap and was from ebay, most of my files are flacs, and some vinyl rips, no hiss while not playing, dead silence, but on tracks, where...

bought a NX1 since comparisons of it vs E11 was to the NX1 during the whole thread, maybe on low gain it will not be as bright as it is, will see how it sounds in a week,too bad i don't know how to express  my experience while using X1 it is like listening to radio station at e.g 104.6, than it...

i also have ttpod 1E, those play kinda clear and its the sound i enjoy, but everything more that 65% off volume starts to sound too bright and cold

Just curious guys, is there anyone actually disapointed with X1? I'm using it for 3 weeks now, ATM earphones are CKS77, 99% files are flacs, tryed EQ setings  for a bunch off songs, as for me, only electronic music, that has not been recorded sounds good and clear, bass can be a bit too much...

Since it's only an amp, not a DAC, it will only work with earphone out? Or with line out as well?
