I'm sorry if I look impatient, but the sellers on Amazon vary a lot on the HD 558, and if I have no choice more than that, I want to grab the ones that are directly sold by Amazon so I assure that I get real ones.

Oh well that explains it, I might get them from the Amazon's Japanese sellers, but in a case where I cannot get them (since I forgot to say that I don't live in the US but in Mexico), are there any other options or the HD 558 are ok?

I'm finding quite a few on eBay, mostly they are from Asian sellers, gotta ask, can I safely buy from those sellers and get a real product and not a counterfeit? Also I found them on Amazon but at $200.

I currently have a "gaming" headset, I really don't like a lot of them, maybe just the EQ software that it has, and the several options you can choose.   I gotta say the sound clarity, they have quite the good sound positioning, but definitely they have a lot of bass bloating and bad treble.
