Fostex T50RP Still Relevant For A Mod As A Business ???
Back in the day, the T50rp and fam were extremely good for the price. It was hard to match their performance at $150. But now a days, the market has moved forward, the t50rps have stayed the same.- SeEnCreaTive

DIY Raspberry Pi - Dac - HDD - 7" Display in a Stereo Component Case
I'm in Digital Fabrication and Design currently in College. The cost of CNC, greatly depends on what you want to do. If you just want to cut flat panels you can bolt together, don't CNC, go for waterjet. Small chassis with 4-6 panels out of 6065 wouldn't be very expensive. If you want a full...- SeEnCreaTive

Do we know of if the paper filter directly behind the pad is the only dust protection layer? (ie: if I take it off do I have to worry about ruining my cans with a single spec of dust?)- SeEnCreaTive

THE DIY HEADPHONE STAND THREAD
Maple and Cherry. Cnc'd. I pushed the machines to the very limit for this. Rather terrifying tbh, hoping the really thin bits will hold together on the only wood I had- SeEnCreaTive

Sennheiser HE-1
I had the pleasure of listening to them at LTX courtesy of headphones.com I waited for about an hour an a half, and unfortunately their booth was right next to the main stage with a show going on. Plus due to the length of the line, we were limited to 4 minutes. However I think I have an ok...- SeEnCreaTive

MrSpeakers Ether CX - $899 from Massdrop
Hard to describe It's not based anemic at all. It's just perfectly flat. It took me awhile to realize, I'm not hearing a lack of bass, but I'm actually hearing a lack of distortion. Hence why the Stealths have a small bass hump to make up for the lack of distortion That being said, I really...- SeEnCreaTive

ABYSS Top Of The Line videos
What does the waterfall look like? In my experience modding t50rps, There's several different kinds of damping. There's damping the air to the driver to try and keep the driver under control, (t50rp drivers can get really bloated if the driver moves too freely) and damping the reflections in...- SeEnCreaTive

"Open Alpha" T50 3D printed headphone project from MrSpeakers
Usually if you are inserting them into a 3d print, the easiest way is using a soldering iron. Stick the insert on the end of a hot iron, and melt it into the hole You generally need a "pilot" hole and partly depends on the material. I'm a pretty big fan of threaded inserts.- SeEnCreaTive
