Anyone have a comparison to the HE-6? Really liked the original Ether, but I prefer HE-6 due to the bass extension. How have the lower ranges changed from the original ether?

It's getting there! I feel like pads would help. The tape I got with my vegans is horrendous; it's not the 3M they show in the pictures. I've spent like an hour trying and I'm not convinced it's double sided... Is there another adhesive I could use?

Really enjoying grill-less so far; opens up the can while also having the same superb extension (removing insulation + keeping the grill on lost some sub bass imo)

I got the vegans today, and it seems the adhesive rings are a tad big? They would hang off a bit if I put them on

Got my HE-6 Blutack and Bryston 2B and I'm astonished... This has probably been the best listening experience I've ever had. The bass goes super deep and they're forgiving to some degree!   Definitely my favorite cans thus far, HE-X was nice but this is special imo

Getting the 2B in the mail soon, I'll let you know what I think!

Recently bought an HE-6 and it should be in the mail soon! Luckily got a 4 screw edition    Anyways, I was wondering what speaker amps you guys would recommend for $480? I also bought the adapter. Some people were saying Bryson 2B or Emotiva A-300, but I'm not too sure. Don't think I'd want...

Hey there, how well do the HE-6 do in low volume performance in your guys' opinion? HE-X sounded bad at low volume in my opinion, so I was hoping to get your thoughts. Talking specifically around the low 60 dB range

I love chinese inspired tunes! I can get a T1 for $400 from a friend of mine, hardwired with a custom cable I ordered too! Leaves much budget for the system :D 

I'll have to give it a listen! I'll wait till I buy a pair of cans, since I sold off my MHP I'm stuck with cheap sony cans rn 

Thanks haha. Yeah, the reason I come back is I can just sit back and enjoy my music. Everything sounds good and natural, whilst nothing specifically "stands out" :) Overall just an enjoyable experience

Hey all, I'm in a bit of a pickle trying to decide what warm tube amp to get for $220. Don't really care if it's new or used, and I could go a little over. Some people said an old receiver could work, and that'd be fine with me imo   Thoughts:   - Garage1217 could fit maybe, ember too...

HE-X are definitely very comfortable, but if you have long hair they will drive you nuts (at least they did to me)
