@JohnYang I think the "cutoff" that  @BRCMRGN was talking about is the same thing that I mentioned to you before about a certain distortion at the very beginning of some music. They are of the same album all in FLAC and same bit rate. some of the music have this very short distortion or "cutoff"...

like I said earlier, can't seem to find the right word to describe that distortion. probably it may sound like a thump. but it definitely distorts the very first split second of the track. It doesn't seem to affect all track, and it's not random either. it only affects specific tracks.

I have the same experience. But it didn't happened to me only twice. It happened several times already. I'm not sure what triggers that bug. Only way to fix it is turning the unit off and on again. Which is quite tedious considering that boot up time takes a few minutes.

I noticed that every time I play a song or skip next, there is a short short distortion, like a bump or slight distortion on the very first second of a music file. Any one here having the same problem? Any fix? Running at FW 1.0.0.2 @JohnYang how about yours? @twister6?

yes, the case helps with the heat. I ran the opus#1 side by side with the L5 Pro, playing same music, both connected to hifiman headphones, and the opus#1 does get warmer compared to the L5 Pro. never had heat issues with the L5 Pro.

@twister6 does your unit run hot or warm after a few minutes or hours of playing? sometimes warm enough to become uncomfortable in hands?

@twister6 I just updated to the latest firmware. and yes I am also experiencing the same problem or bug. what other bugs have you noticed? should we revert back to 1.0.0.6?   Anyway, the files are still not sorted alphabetically every time I add a new folder. I hope this will be fix too.

@JohnYang I think non-chan might have uploaded a corrupted file? Not sure. I want to try the 1.0.0.8 ver. Just in  case anything happens, how can I go back to the  1.0.0.6 version or if the unit freezes up? what's the work around?
