Yeah, I mean like any can you can press them into your ears hard enough the bass picks up, but within reason they work ok for my head. +3db or so down low on the EQ and they sound full on the bottom to me without mucking up anything else that I can perceive.

Frankly I'm probably too ear-dumb to tell the difference. I EQ up the bass with Peace a bit with them for most tracks way beyond what I suspect the the earpads could ever do. Never really had much trouble with sealing on either set though I've read a lot of people do.

If one can hear a difference, one can measure a difference. It's actually usually the opposite, human beings have really crappy hearing at the best of times. Anything else is faith and emotion.

If  cable sounds different, better or worse, it should be measurable and explainable and repeatable.  This isn't magic. I personally hope I never hear the difference, because I really do not want to have to live with spending more than $20 on any given cable.  :)

Do we know at what point noise is a problem? My nice off the shelf switching unit is tested at 25mv@80amps on the +12 for instance, fair bit less with lower draw.
